Due to the high water levels and flooding along the lower path at the river. We have decided to postpone the Pirate 5K/10K for August 18th. Currently the lower level is flooded as shown in pictures below.
We are uncertain if the water will recede to a safe level for the morning and what type of conditions it will leave behind. We are offering three options:
Option 1: We are now adding a 10K to our Haunted House event on October 27th and your registration can be transferred to this race. This event already has a 5K included.
Option 2: You can be transferred to any of our races this year or next year once the 2019 schedule becomes available.
Option 3: You can choose to run the race virtually and we will mail you your shirt and medal free of charge.
If you decide to run one of our live races please note you can still get a Pirate Medal in addition to the medal of that particular race.
Any questions please feel free to contact Missy at email@example.com or 717-885-6864. Our runners safety is our upmost concern when we had made this difficult decision.
