VOLUNTEERS: Join the Movie Madness Half Marathon as a group of 6 or more for a chance to win prize money for your group or to donate to your favorite charity.

Requirements:

• Must have 6 or more members to your volunteer group.
• Must stay for the awards ceremony.
• Must clean up your area after the race, or will be disqualified from winning prize money.
• Must pick a movie theme or movie characters and dress up.

Each Group is required to be at the race at 6:00 AM for their briefing and assignments. Groups will need to provide their own table at the Hydration Station. The race will provide water, cups, Gatorade and trash bags. Groups will be required to stay at their position until the trailing car passes. If the course is an out and back, the trailing car will need to pass your group twice.  Groups must be present at the awards festival to receive prize money.

GROUP PRIZE MONEY AND VOTING: Each runner will receive a ticket to vote for the best Movie Madness group. Additional tickets may be purchased for $1.00 each at the festival. All groups will need to provide a small box or container that can be used to drop tickets in for voting. Creative containers have a better chance for more votes. Feel free to add images, and colors to the containers. Your group’s name must be on the container and a note of what the prize money will go towards if you win. The containers will all be placed on a table at the Movie Madness Festival or finish area.

$300 will be given to 1st place, $200 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place.
