HARRC is very fortunate to have active individuals who are willing to spend countless hours planning and organizting events. 2011 introduced two new HARRC-sponsored running events: "HARRC After Dark" and "HARRC In The Park". These two events will tenatively be held on an annual basis.

In addition to these, Marge Lebo organizes several fun 5k "Prediction" runs in the area. While these might not have all the bells-and-whistles of the larger events, Marge's runs are cheap (virtually free), fun, and well-attended. A good time is sure to be had by all so come on out and join us!

What is a prediction run?  Well - before you start running you tell the race director how fast you think that you will run this 5K on a hilly course on a cold day.  Then you must leave all you watches and any other device that tells time at home or in your car.  The three runners who finish closest to their predicted time will win a prize.

When:  We will be holding another Prediction Run sometime in January/February. The date will be announce on the website, Facebook page and other HARRC posting areas.

Where:  Wildwood Park Pavilion off Linglestown Road

Prizes:  To overall Male and Female and the 3 closest to their predicted time.

Cost:  Cheap! The November run was a $3.00 donation per runner that went towards the Cumberland & Perry County Domestic Violence Services

Post Race Gathering:  Coffee, Cocoa and Carbs will be provided at the Wildwood Pavilion near Linglestown Road after the race.  The products are being donated by the Cornerstone Coffee Shop in Camp Hill.

Questions:  Please e-mail Marge Lebo, Race Director at run26mile@comcast.net

Stay tuned for the next event!
