Have run 176 marathons in 20 countries. First Pennsylvania runner to complete a marathon in each of the 50 states (1995), and the 13 provinces and territories of Canada (2002). Average time for the marathons was 3:17 for USA, and 3:24 for Canada. Two overall victories: Wyoming Marathon (1993), Nunavut Marathon (2000), which was on Baffin Island in Arctic Canada. I have run marathons in Antarctica, the Sahara Desert, Cuba, Jamaica, Russia, Iceland, Mexico City, Dubai, and several in Europe. Personal best of 2:53 was set at the Manitoba Marathon in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. My Half Marathon best of 1:18 was set in Ocean City, New Jersey. I am a professional photograper (on weekends), having had work published in all the major running magazines, and have had a front page photo in the New York Times.  Running goals on hold until I recover from knee surgery.
