I have been running since high school cross country and track. My running has evolved from 5ks to Marathons to Ultras. I have never gotten into scientific marathon plans or regmented training, I just like to run.
I help out with the York Road Runners and have made many friends in the York area through running.
I coach cross country and track at Dover HS and enjoy working with the fantastic kids that are endurance runners.
My goals are to:
1. Complete the Western States 100. I was lucky enough to get in in 2010 but DNF at mile 70 with partial kidney failure. I am sure my legs could have made it.
2. Ride bike across the country. I think this will come after the WS100 and after the kids are out on their own.
