The F.O.P., Lodge 15 will be hosting a 5k to benefit York County Special Olympics. In prior years, one of our officers would coordinate a torch run, where law enforcement would run from the bridge in Wrightsville back into the city to raise awareness about Special Olympics. This year we decided to revive the torch run, however we are making some big changes!!
We hope to raise funds for Special Olympics of York County by holding a 5k open to law enforcement and public alike. During the 5k, athletes from the Special Olympics will pass the torch from start to finish. In addition, we will have a one mile walk and a kids fun run.
All proceeds will go directly to Special Olympics of York County. We need your participation and the participation of your friends and families to make this event a success.
