Packet pick up & runner registration: We will hold packet pick up/runner registration from 6p-7p on Friday June 1st . Look for Hope for Cope signs to find us. Packet pick up/runner registration will begin at 8am the day of the race in Scotch Pine Pavilion. Each participant will receive their bib #, race day information and coupons/goodies from local area businesses in their packet.
We will have an official time clock and official time keeper. Official results will be posted in the York Daily Record Sports section and on our website at www.hopeforcope.org following the race.
Bring extra cash!! We will have a few door prizes, raffles and merchandise sales inside Scotch Pine Pavilion. Please be sure to bring extra money and stop in the pavilion following the race. Results will be posted by 1045am inside Scotch Pine Pavilion as well.
Refreshments will be served! We will have water & snacks following the race inside Scotch Pine pavilion. A water stop will also be on course at the 1.5 mile mark.

The course will be well marked with orange spray paint and orange “pole markers” that John Rudy has out marking the course. The course is NEW this year is a grass course that takes you to nearly every corner of the park. It is the site of the annual York County High School Cross Country Championship held every October, as well as several college events.
Look for volunteers: Volunteers will be identified in orange t-shirts on course, at the finish and in Scotch Pine Pavilion. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions or directions!
Donations: The Hope for Cope foundation is always accepting donations for care kits and/or the needs of local hospitals caring for children in their fight against cancer. We will have a drop off box at the event for items needed. Please see our website for a list of items needed if you’d like to contribute. |
