Don't start your race with "on your mark, get set, go".  Start it with "Lights-Camera-Action" at our Movie Madness Race Series!  This is a competitive race with a movie theme.  You will cross our red carpet like a movie star at the finish. Each race has a festival on race day that we invite all local businesses and groups to attend.  Movie madness has taken over the entire race!  Show off your movie madness creativity by dressing up in a movie-themed costume for a chance to win a Movie Madness Award.

WHAT: Movie Madness Half Marathon

WHEN:  22 Sept, 2012. Race starts at 8:00 AM.

WHERE: Hollywood Casino At Penn National Race Course.  777 Hollywood Blvd, Grantville, PA 17028

WHY: To promote good health and bring the community together.

HOW:  Mail in Application or sing-up Online.  No race day registration.

PACKET PICK UP:  Early packet pick up is from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Holiday Inn Harrisburg-Hershey.  Race day packet pick up is from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course (604 Station Road, Grantville, PA 17028).

FESTIVAL: The festival will be from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM at race location on race day.  Food will be available to runners and volunteers.  Business or organizations that want to join the festival please contact race director. Awards ceremony will be at the festival at 11:30 AM.

AFTER PARTY: The after party is at Winner's Circle Saloon, Holiday Inn Harrisburg-Hershey.  Jesse Wade Band will be performing race night.  Runners will receive 15% food at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg-Hershey.

PREFERRED HOTEL: Holiday Inn Harrisburg-Hershey.  Exit 80, I-81, 604 Station Road, Grantville, PA 17028,  Phone 717.469.0661, http://www.stayholiday.com. Discount room race of $99.00 for runners until 09/07/12.  Only 8 rooms left at this prise.

RACE RULES: There is a three and a half hour course limit.  Entry fees are non-transferable, no exceptions.  Once we receive and process your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate.  You must be at least 12 years old to participate in the Half Marathon.  You must be in good health and physically prepared.  Race numbers are required to participate.  This event will occur rain or shine.  We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances.  Should the event be cancelled, there are no refunds. You must be present at award ceremony to receive award.  Race shirts and awards will not be mailed.

NOTES: You must be 21 or older to enter the Casino!  All race events will be outside of the Casino.

RACE LIMIT: 270 runners.

COST: $59.00.  All runners registered by 5 September, 2012 will receive a Movie Madness tech-shirt.

GROUP REGISTRATION: Groups of five or more that mail-in their registration together receive $13.00 off per runner. ($46.00)

RACE TEAM: Every runner has a chance to join one of our race teams to support an organization.
