Don't start your race with "on your mark, get set, go". Start it with "Lights-Camera-Action" at our Movie Madness Race Series! This is a competitive race with a movie theme. You will cross our red carpet like a movie star at the finish. Each race has a festival on race day that we invite all local businesses and groups to attend. Movie madness has taken over the entire race! Show off your movie madness creativity by dressing up in a movie-themed costume for a chance to win a Movie Madness Award.

WHAT: Movie Madness Half Marathon
WHEN: 17 November 2012. Race starts at 8:00 AM.
WHERE:East Manchester Township, PA, Northeastern High School / Middle School (4855 Board Road, Mount Wolf, PA 17347).
WHY: To promote good health and bring the community together.
HOW: Online registration only. No race day registration.
EARLY PACKET PICK UP: 16 November, 2012. Early packet pick up is from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. York White Rose Bar & Grill, 48 N. Beaver Street, York, PA
RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP: At race location from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM
FESTIVAL: The festival will be from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM at race location on race day. Food will be available to runners and volunteers. Business or organizations that want to join the festival please contact race director. Awards ceremony will be at the festival at 11:30 AM.
RACE RULES: There is a three and a half hour course limit. Entry fees are non-transferable, no exceptions. Once we receive and process your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You must be at least 12 years old to participate in the Half Marathon. You must be in good health and physically prepared. Race numbers are required to participate. This event will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. Should the event be cancelled, there are no refunds. You must be present at award ceremony to receive award. Race shirts and awards will not be mailed.
COST: $59.00.
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT (ONLINE ONLY):$47.00 until 10 September, 2012. All runners registered by 5 November, 2012 will receive a Movie Madness tech-shirt.

DONATIONS: We are always look for groups to support and to donate to. If you are interested, contact the race director.
This race is limited to 153 runners (This was increased because 22 runners chose to take trophies instead of medals).

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The race starts at Northeastern Middle School/Northeastern High School (4855 Board Road, Mount Wolf, PA 17347) and runs along the historical Susquehanna River. The course is mostly flat with a couple of bumps and one hill. Part of the course is on a dirt road.
