What is the ROM 5K?

It is a way to keep you motivated to run a 5k distance as fast as you can each month and earn awards. The ROM 5k is part of the US Road Running Runner of the Month program to earn awards.

Does my 5k time have to be a race?
No.  You can run a race, but your finish time can also be on the treadmill or one of your training runs.  You can use your GPS or any other way to measure out 3.1 miles.

How do I submit my time?
Click Here to submit your time.  You must run your 5k in the same month of the ROM 5k and submit it by the last day of the month by 5:00 PM.

What is the Cost?
$4.99 per runner.  (Compete for the 3" custom medals with your finish time on the medal.)
$11.99 per runner. (Compete for the 3" custom medals with your finish time on the medal, and receive a 3" custom finisher medal with your finish time on the medal.)
$14.99 per runner. (Compete for the 3" custom medals with your finish time on the medal, and receive a 3" custom finisher medal with your finish time on the medal and  US Road Running T-Shirt (S, M, L only).)

How do I receive my medal?
You will be shipped your medal after the race has ended.

Finish time and results will be posted after the ROM 5k has ended.  Your time will also be emailed to you after the ROM 5k has ended.  This is not a sanctioned event and we do not provide any type of insurance.  Run at your own risk.  You can submit your times as much as you want before the close of the race at the end of the month. 100 Points - For each person you sign up for the June 2012 ROM 5k you will receive 50 ROM points.  You will receive your points on the day your payment is received.

Blog - Everyone that blogs about their June 2012 ROM 5k will be entered into a drawing for a US Road Running T-Shirt.  Please do not post your finish times on the blog. Blog
