US Road Running Movie Madness 1/2 Marathon

New 1/2 Marathon coming to the Harrisburg-York area on April 7, 2012.  The race begins when you hear “Lights-Camera-Action!” Cross the red carpet like a movie star, get hydrated at the movie themed hydration stations, receive your Movie Madness finisher medal and tech shirt, and join in the Movie Madness Festival. Movie Madness  has taken over the entire race! You can also show us your creativity by dressing up in a movie themed costume to have a chance of winning a Movie Madness award.  The race supports Leg Up Farm, Eagle Fire Company, Hope for Cope Foundation, Harrisburg Area Road Runners Club and York Road Runners Club.  For more information go to USRoadRunning.com.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: 
The race starts at Northeastern Middle School/Northeastern High School (4855 Board Road, Mount Wolf, PA 17347) and runs along the historical Susquehanna River. The course is mostly flat with a couple of bumps and one hill.  Part of the course is on a dirt road.  For more information and a map go to the race page and click on Half Marathon.  USRoadRunning.com
