Hi, My name is Andrea and I'm a "newbie" to long distance running. I have done many 5k's but I have decided I would like a greater challenge. I have signed up with Team in Training to run my first half marathon on October 16, 2011 in San Francisco, CA. I not only want to do this for a personal goal, but also for a great cause. In order to run, I have been raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I welcome any kind of support that anyone can give.
