How does our coaching work?

This is coaching using internet based tools to communicate. We offer customized training plans and personal coaching to help you achieve your goals, meet your potential, and remain injury free. You are required to fill out a questionnaire, so your coach can work with you to set and achieve a realistic goal. This goal can be mileage, or a time based goal.

What does this include?
  • Initial consultation to evaluate current fitness level and determine appropriate goals.
  • Customized training plan tailored to your lifestyle, goals, and fitness level. (Plans may be altered due to weather, schedule changes, or other unexpected event)
  • Unlimited emails to your coach for questions, clarification, feedback, and support.
  • Nutritional guidance. (If desired)
  • Strength and flexibility exercises. (If desired)
  • Injury prevention guidelines.
  • Mental strength training.
  • Racing strategies.

When are medals mailed out?

Medals are mailed out within 15 days of completion of your 4 weeks of coaching.

What is the cost?

$100.00 - 4 weeks of coaching. ($25.00 per week)
$250.00 - 12 weeks of coaching. ($20.83 per week)
$450.00 - 26 weeks of coaching. ($17.30 per week)

How do I sign up for coaching?
  • Create a free US Road Running account if you don't have one already.
  • Choose and pay for a coaching duration.
  • Coach Brenda will email you a questionnaire, and you need to fill it out.
  • Coach Brenda will review the questionnaire and contact you to define your goals.
  • Once we have defined your goals the coach will setup a training plan in your US Road Running Training Log that you can review.
  • During the coaching time period, the coach will give feedback and will be available for questions, comments, encouragement, and the option to modify the training plan as needed.
  • Get off your butt, get your shoes on, and start training!

I am a certified coach through Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) and a competitive master runner in distances 5K - marathon. As a mother of four I understand the importance of balancing work, home, and fitness goals. I believe in meeting individuals at their current fitness level and helping them reach the next fitness level. I utilize a holistic approach to training which not only includes running, but also nutrition, physical strength, flexibility, and mental strength training.
